A local insurance broker, Jason Fitzgerald Korb has been a providing insurance solutions to Washington D.C. residents since 2007. After relocating to the District of Columbia from Brooklin, Massachusetts, Jason Fitzgerald Korb discovered some of the excellent concerts provided by the Jazz in the Garden program.
Part of a tradition of concerts given at the National Gallery of Art that dates back to 1942, Jazz in the Garden takes place each summer near the Pavilion Cafe in the Sculpture Garden. The most recent Jazz in the Garden series began on May 27, 2016, with a performance by the 19th Street Band and ended on September 2, 2016, with a concert by the Fred Hughes Trio. Other eclectic DC-area artists who played during the 2016 season include Eastern Standard Time, Speakers of the House, and Chelsey Green and the Green Project. All concerts began at 5:00 p.m., with music ending at approximately 8:00 p.m. During each concert, the Pavilion Café offered a special menu, which included several beer and wine selections.
